Lyrics
Verse 1: To the tomb where my dear Savior lay, shall my life reflect in somber ways. There for me inside the earthen grave, willf’lly buried all my sins away.
Verse 2: Ent’ring thru a cold and wat’ry breadth, is the tomb that gave my shame to death. There I buried life to worldliness, and my dying man of sin was left.
Verse 3: Will you put off that decisive chore, while beyond the tomb will well secure life anew and way thru heaven’s door, if you’re buried as was our dear Lord?
Verse 4: Will you linger as the days go by, clinging tightly to this earthly life? Or come now to let the old man die, to the tomb and be by Jesus’ side?
