Verse 1: The Lord provides a haven For every soul oppressed: “Come all, you heavy laden, And I will give you rest.”
Verse 2: He waits for each confession, Then hears a common plea: “Forgive my last transgression;” “Be merciful to me!”
Verse 3: So many come to Jesus; So many drift away; He knows the hour it grieves us, And heals us night and day.
Verse 4: Some day will I be facing A world I cannot see; The Lord will be there waiting, And reaching out for me.
