Verse 1: Blessed, blessed, blessed are we, whom God has blest with mercy, comfort and peace when we have humbly sought His name to confess, hungered and sought His righteousness. And we are
Verse 2: Pure in heart we see that God is great and pure in holiness.
Verse 3: Poor in spirit, meek and gentle, we are blest with happiness.
Verse 4: Persecuted like our Lord, and like the prophets, we’ll be blest.
Verse 5: Rich in blessings from our God, we humbly seek His righteousness.
