Verse 1: I’m lost in sin no hope for me in the belly of the fish I cry to Thee. My sin and shame wash over me, The way of salvation I cannot see. The waves of guilt continue to pound in the world of sin no hope is found. I need a Savior while there is time for this lost soul of mine. O Lord, hear my cry, in my sins don’t let me suffer and die.
Verse 2: No works of man by my own hand can deliver me to the promised land. The only light there is for me: the Lamb of God on Cal va ry. O help me, Lord, to You I turn the Maker of Heaven and Earth I spurned. Who sent His Son to die for me that from my bondage might be set free. Hear, Believe, Repent, Confess, be Baptized and be faithful ’til death. This I obey as preached to me by the One who gave His life for me.
Verse 3: I confess the name of Jesus as Lord and repent of sins I once adored. Immersed in the waters prepared for me and born again in His glory. O raise me up to walk with Thee. All the days of my life You living in me. You are the Holy One that brings the hope of life in Your Son. Thanks, Honor, Praise and Glory to Thee, Savior, God for all eternity!! Heaven my home where I long to be. No sin, no death shall conquer me.
