Verse 1: I read the Word of God, and then at once rejoice, For when I listen to its call, I hear my Father’s voice.
Verse 2: Its ev’ry line repeats His will decreed above, And ev’ry word makes evident His wisdom, might, and love.
Verse 3: Within its least of themes and in its smallest part, I find the fire to light again His worship in my heart.
