Verse 1: Lord, I am not my own, I know; Bought with the price of Thy dear blood: What sorrows didst Thou undergo, To bring my guilty soul to God!
Verse 2: I was a slave to sin and sense, Had sold my precious soul for nought; And, O, at what a vast expense, Hast Thou a captive creature bought!
Verse 3: Lord, I would now Thy voice obey; Body and spirit, both are Thine: Yet, blessed Lord, I cannot pay, the debt I owe to love divine.
Verse 4: Had I a thousand worlds to give; What are a thousand worlds to Thee? O! let me to Thy honor live, Till I Thy face in glory see.
