Verse 1: There’s a voice that is calling you today, Calling you to the strait and narrow way. Tho’ your heart may be cold, do not delay, But listen to the voice of the Lord.
Verse 2: There are many voices in the air. How they thunder for attention ev’rywhere! when you hear their strident clamor, don’t despair, But listen to the voice of the Lord.
Verse 3: There’s a day that is coming by and by, when the Lord will appear up in the sky. He will take His children with Him up on high, So listen to the voice of the Lord.
Chorus: Listen to the voice of the Lord, When He speaks to you thru His word. It may pierce your spirit like a sword, But listen to the voice of the Lord.
