When days are brighter and full of hope, Let me sing.When night is darker and unrestful, Let me sing.In joy and sadness, all times of day, In praise and thankful along the way, Whatever I face, whatever You bring, Lord, Let me sing.

When fam’ly and friends are rejoicing, Let us sing. When we mourn, there’s no celebrating, Let us sing. When we worship or when we fall to our knees, When we feel so strong or maybe so weak, Bring peace and comfort and see to our need, and Let us sing.

When I can’t find words and the teardrops fall, Let them sing. If my heart is breaking in front of all, Let them sing. Lord, bind up my wounds with a sweet refrain, From brothers and sisters who feel my pain, When my voice is weak, ’til I’m better again, please Let them sing.

When sleep won’t come to my eyes at night, Let me sing. And cares of the world press on ev’ry side, Let me sing. Bring calmness and strength, Lord, to do Your will, A firm resolve just to follow You still, Let ancient words and the harmonies ring, Lord, Let me sing.
