Lyrics
Verse 1: When in the fearful land of doubt, I seek to know my place. In dreadful longing, I cry out to see my Savior’s face.
Verse 2: Am I alone to tread the road? Alone to face the day? Will I have strength to bear the load? Or give in to the fray?
Verse 3: “You cannot do this all alone,” I hear Him gently sigh. “You have no strength to call your own: on Me you must rely.”
Verse 4: So to my God again I yield. Why did I ever fear? He is my refuge and my shield, and He is ever near.
