Verse 1: He is the image of God, the unseen. He is the firstborn, the chief cornerstone. He has created in heaven and earth powers, authorities, rulers and thrones.
Verse 2: He is the head of the body, the church. He is the Savior, first born from the dead. He has now reconciled all to Himself; peace has been made because His blood was shed.
Chorus: All things were made thru Him. All things were made for Him. He is before all things, and all things hold together in Him.
