Verse 1: We must show care with words we choose And gentleness with tones we use; Our love for others we may show By not revealing all we know.
Verse 2: For when we idly speak of men, Our wasted breath could speak of Him Whose voice was used to strengthen men And give us peace and joy within.
Verse 3: Our words of praise will honor Him And show our love for fellow men. We’ll glorify our God of grace, Show joy from Him in ev’ry place.
