Verse 1: Blessed are the poor in spirit the kingdom now they do receive; Blessed are those who at their sins mourn, God shall comfort them with His true grace.
Verse 2: Blessed are the Lord’s meek servants, God’s inheritance they shall receive; Blessed are those who thirst and hunger, God shall fill them with His great love.
Verse 3: Blessed are the mercygivers, they shall receive the mercy of God; Blessed are those who are pure in heart, they shall see the Lord in all things.
Chorus: Surrender now your heart to the Savior, it is the only gift He seeks; Give your heart to our Lord and Master, the blessings of God you will receive.
