Verse 1
Although my path might lead me In places I may fear, My heart is full of singing Because my Lord is near. I’ll keep my feet from evil, His precepts I have heard, I take my Father with me Thru knowledge of His word.

Can two walk on together Except they be agreed? To take the Father with me, His will I now give heed. The way is strait and narrow, But plainly can be trod, I take the Father with me The true and living God.
Verse 3
He never sleeps nor slumbers, I’m safe held in His hand. In God is my salvation; My life, His to command. His blessings are abundant; His promises are true. I’ll take the Father with me In ev’rything I do.

I take my Father with me To ev’ry place I go. And tell His wondrous story To all I meet and know. I’ll take the Father with me His servant here I’ll be, Until He takes me heav’nward To live eternally.
