Lyrics
Verse 1: Israelites were making bricks; in Egypt they were slaves. Moses saw the burning bush, and God told him, “Be brave.” Moses went to Pharoah, and his brother spoke their plea. God said, “Let My people go, so they can worship Me.” God made water turn to blood so everyone would know He controls the universe, and Phara0h, he said, “No!”
Verse 2: God sent frogs and lice and flies, and animal’s disease, boils and hail and locusts, too, all eating as they please. Moses went to Pharoah, and his brother spoke their plea. God said, “Let My people go, so they can worship Me.” God made darkness three days long so everyone would know He controls the universe, and Pharaoh, he said “No!”
Verse 3: Egypt suffered every plague, but God protected Jews. Death passed over Israelites, but Egypt got bad news. Moses went to Pharoah, and his brother spoke their plea. God said, “Let My people go, so they can worship Me.” God took Egypt’s firstborn sons so everyone would know He controls the universe, and Pharaoh, he said, “Go!”
