Verse 1: Put on compassion, clothe your heart. Be humble, meek and kind. With gentle patience do your part. Keep Jesus in your mind. With any reason to complain against another one, recall your pardon from His pain. Forgive as Christ has done.
Verse 2: And put on love above all things; it binds us one and all. What perfect harmony love brings! Walk worthy of His call Whatever you will do or say, do all in Jesus’ name. Thru Jesus thank God when you pray; His power overcame!
Chorus: Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you. Teach the Word with wisdom and song. Let the peace of Christ rule your heart, control you. Called to peace, in Him we belong.
