Verse 1: How deep the wonders of that cross, Where our Redeemer bled and died; Its noblest life our spirit draws, From His deep wounds and pierced side.
Verse 2: I would forever speak His name In sounds to mortal ears unknown. With angels join to praise the Lamb And worship at His Father’s throne.
Verse 3: Christ gave His life upon that cross, New covenant made He with man; His church was purchased by His blood So I His love can understand.
